North Strabane Police Department

The North Strabane Police Department was founded in 1969 and employed only part time officers. Then in 1972 the department employed six full time officers. Since then our department has had to expand to accommodate the rapid growth and development of our township. The department is currently headed by Chief Dan Strimel, who under his command has one lieutenant, four sergeants, two detectives, twelve full time patrolman, and one part time patrolman. North Strabane Police provide twenty four hour a day service to the township and its residents.
